ABOUT "DR. JUN"                                             

     Doctor Jun Acosta Berberabe was born on October 10, 1965  at Batangas City, Philippines. He finished his elementary and high school studies at Saint Bridget College, Batangas City, Valedictorian. He took Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1986 at the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila, Philippines and graduated Magna Cum Laude and at the same University, he finished Doctor of Medicine and graduated as Best Resident Physician. He then went to the United States of America and took his residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in 1993, was awarded his Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1997. He was then given his Medical Licensure by the Nevada State  License also in 1997.

     As a professional doctor, he started his private medical practice in 1996 as a Board Certified Internal Medicine, President of the West Charleston Medical Center at West Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada and held this position for almost ten years serving thousands of Filipinos and other patients of various nationalities. During those years he was also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.  He also served as  a Medical Director at the Center for Clinical Research also in Las Vegas Nevada.

     Other positions he held are:  Consultant and Promotional Speaker for Pfizer and Novartis Drug Company; Preceptor, Family Medicine Residents, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, San Bernardino, California; Preceptor, Western University of Health Sciences, Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Program, Pomona, California; and many other medical positions abroad.

     As a board certified internist, Dr. Jun Berberabe received various awards and achievements in the performance of his medical profession here and abroad. Some of them to name a few are: Meritus Award for Excellent Performance in the field of Medicine given by the University of Sto. Tomas; Outstanding Doctor of the Year granted by the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas; Americas Top Physician awarded by the American Consumer Research Council, 2003 and 2006; Las Vegas Top Doctor of the Year, 2007; Humanitarian Award for being an Outstanding Doctor in recognition of his humanitarian contribution to the people of Las Vegas; Founders Humanitarian Award, a testimonial of exceptional generosity, kindness of spirit, and devoted services to the community, awarded by the Lion's Club International; and a Citation of Merit, a meritorious accomplishment in the field of public safety, social services and professionalism, given by the National Headquarters, Philippine National Police.

      As a public servant, Dr. Jun Acosta Berberabe conducted various medical missions in many depressed barangays of Batangas City, Metro-Manila, Quezon City and Bicol Region. He likewise performed medical services at Salvation Army and St. Anne's Church in Las Vegas, Nevada and also participated in the Eucharistic Ministry in Our Lady of Las Vegas Church,  Las Vegas, Nevada. He is likewise the doctor of thousands of  Batanguenos here in Batangas City, Philippines giving them free medicines, consultaions and treatments. Dr. Jun Berberabe likewise assisted many Batanguenos in seeking help of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes in providing them charitable treatments and medical assistance.

      He is a proud member, once president and vice president of Las Vegas-Philippine Medical Association; Member, Couples for Christ Movement, Las Vegas Chapter; Member, Lions Club International; Member, Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce Las Vegas Nevada, Councilor, Batangas Medical Society; Member, Lions club of Batangas City, and many other clubs and associations here in the Philippines.

     He is affiliated with Saint Patricks Hospital, Golden Gate General Hospital, Jesus of Nazareth Hospital and Mary Mediatrix Medical Center.
